Update 22:06 UTC : 12 houses in Betulia have been reported with damage as well as the hospital in Bucaramanga

Update 21:37 UTC : Cracks are being reported in the
Justice building of Cucuta. The earthquake was based on the incoming
crack reports stronger than mentioned on the shaking map below. We
recognize a strong shaking in some places instead of a light shaking
shown on the USGS map and the list below.
Update 21:34 UTC : We are seeing reports now from cracks in apartment buildings in Tachira, Venezuela

People are reporting already hairline cracks in walls. Some people are
also reporting strong shaking. The local Colombian seismological agency
is reporting a Magnitude of 6.6.
Update 21:20 UTC : The
earthquake was felt as far as Panama and Venezuela (typical for deep
earthquakes). The parliament in Bogota as well as many office buildings
were evacuated after the earthquake. 50 years ago a similar also deep
earthquake left 10 people dead in the same region. Luckily we are now
2015 and the houses have much more resistance than in earlier times.
