   Ein Wirbelsturm in  Caravaca-Murcia brachte den Hagel, der am Montag auf den Feldern  zwischen 6000 und 7000 Hektar Ackerland beschädigte, berichtet die Genossenschaft COAG. Dies ist der Fall bei einigen Orten Archivel wo sie 40 Liter pro Quadratmeter sammelten, oder in Bereichen der Gegend Moralejo, mit 25 Liter pro Quadratmeter. Una de las 7 maravillas naturales de España, el peñón de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe ¡No os lo podéis perder! Conozco desde hace muchos años este hermoso rincón de Bizkaia que hoy está catalogado como una de las 7 maravillas naturales de España. Era muy joven cuando recorrí por primera vez sus casi 300 escaleras y pude admirar desde lo alto el Mar Cantábrico en todo su esplendor. Si soy sincero lo que realmente me llamó la atención fue el pintoresco camino a la ermita que une la isla roquera con el continente. Se parecía demasiado a los imposibles accesos a los castillos de los cuentos infantiles. Y es que después de haber leído infinidad de historias de leyenda me encontraba de frente con una realidad que no se podía parecer más a mi imaginación. Uno de los significados de Gaztelugatxe dicen que es castillo malo o difícil.

The USGS initially put the magnitude at 7.2 before revising it downwards. The epicentre was 96km south-southeast of Raoul Island. GNS duty seismologist Carolyn Holden told Radio New Zealand's Morning Report programme there was some initial concern for Raoul Island because of the size of the quake, but there was no tsunami threat to New Zealand. Six Department of Conversation staff and volunteers are working on Raoul Island. A spokesperson for the department said they felt the quake but there was no damage, and the staff are very used to earthquakes there. Raoul Island is the biggest in the Kermedecs group of islands
