Die Arbeitslosenzahl in Spanien ist im Monat August wieder gestiegen, und zwar um  8.070 Personen. Die registrierten Arbeitslosen werden insgesamt  beziffert mit 4.427.930 Personen .   Nach Angaben des Ministeriums für Arbeit und soziale Sicherheit angegeben, gibt es 270.853 Arbeitslose weniger, als vor einem Jahr, was den höchsten jährlichen Rückgang im August aller Aufzeichnungen zeige. Jedoch bleibt zu beachten, das durch die Flut der Schulden, viele Arbeitslose sich nicht mehr registrieren lassen. Zudem kommt eine hohe Abwanderung der Ausländer hinzu, die die Arbeitslosenstastik drastisch verändert. Spanien geht es nicht besser!  Durch den starken Tourismus in diesem Jahr, fließt erneut viel Geld nach Spanien, jedoch bleibt zu bedenken, das die Jobs im Tourismus nur  Zeitjobs sind (maximal sechs Monate und raus).
