(Google maps) ------- La isla de Nea Kameni (griega: "Nueva, quemada") es la isla dominante en el medio de la kaldera de Santorinin. Pertenece al archipiélago volcánico Therma/Santorin. Las islas de Nea Kameni y Palea Kameni son las islas, que fueron creadas lejos por pieza después del devastador aturdimiento volcánico del período minoico (aproximadamente 1627 a. C.).------- Nea Kameni es la isla más joven de los dos y ha sido creada desde el siglo XV después del nacimiento de Cristo. Es la parte activa de los volcanes de Santorin (además del volcán submarino Koloumbos) lo que tiene el potencial de hacer brotes en el futuro. En 2011-2012 hubo una crisis de terremotos en la que el área noreste aumentó hasta 9 cm. Una cámara de magma estaba (es) escalando. Desde entonces ha habido paz. (Google maps) ------------- Die Insel Nea Kameni (griech.: "Neue, Verbrannte") ist die dominierende Insel in der Mitte der Kaldera von Santorin. Sie gehört zum Vulkanarchipel Thera/Santorin. Die Inseln Nea Kameni und Palea Kameni sind die Inseln, die weit nach der verheerenden Vulkankatastrophe der Minoischen Zeit (ca. 1627 v.Chr.) Stück für Stück neu entstanden.-------- Nea Kameni ist die jüngere Insel der beiden und entstand seit dem 15 Jahrhundert nach Christi Geburt. Es ist der aktive Teil der Santorin-Vulkane (neben dem submarinen Vulkan Koloumbos), die das Potential haben, in Zukunft wieder Ausbrüche zu tätigen. 2011-2012 gab es eine Erdbebenkrise, bei der sich der nordöstliche Bereich um bis zu 9 cm gehoben hat. Eine Magmakammer war (ist) am Aufsteigen. Seitdem herrscht Ruhe.
