La Feria de Abril (in diesem Jahr findet sie im Mai statt) in Sevilla , ist eines der größten Festivals in Spanien . Die Sevillianer feiern die Ankunft des Frühlings, und mehr als tausend Häuser sind mit Blumen geschmückt und werden für eine Woche für das Puplikum geöffnet zur Besichtigung einer alten Wohntradition. Man trifft sich in den "Casetas" Zelten, die sich die Großfamilien gemietet haben. Die Frauen tragen schöne, oft sehr teure Flamencokleider. Es gibt genau wie in Sevilla die traditionellen  Casetas wo sich die Familien und Vereine zusammen treffen und es gibt Landestypische Gerichte. Viel Spass und Stimmung. Ein Lauffeuer, das sehr aktiv durch starken Wind ist,  hat in der Stadt Ourense Rubiá (Galicien) mehr als 150 Hektar zerstört. Flamen machen Täler unzugänglich, behindern die Lösch-Arbeit von der Luft aus. Das Feuer begann um 21:35 Uhr am Montag in der Gemeinde San Miguel de Oulego. Bemühungen, Fortschritte zu verhindern waren umsonst, das Feuer näherte sich dem Naturpark. Die Flammen sind in der unmittelbaren Umgebung der Sierra de Lastra-Zone A , gekennzeichnet durch eine Landschaft, in der Granit und einer einzigartigen Flora durch ihre mediterranen Elementen zu finden sind, es gibt alte Eichen -, Kastanien-Bäume, Thymian und Wiesen mit mehr als 25 Arten von Orchideen.

A solar halo appeared in the sky over Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, on Monday morning (May 5). The solar halo became visible at around 09:00 , and many local residents poured into the streets to enjoy the rare atmospheric wonder. The sun appeared to be encircled by a gray and black band, with many colored rings around the edge of the circle. Solar halo is a symbol of good luck in Tibetan culture. A rare atmospheric optical phenomenon, solar halos usually appear in spring and summer and are formed when sunlight is refracted by ice crystals in high-altitude cirrus clouds. Experts warned that people should not look at the solar halo with naked eyes for long because the strong sunlight could easily hurt the eyes. The spectacular sight was visible in the city for four and a half hours.
