Palma de Mallorca /14/08/2015/ Indignación entre los vecinos de Palma. Una tromba de agua de una duración menor a diez minutos y una gran cantidad de calles y plazas se han inundado. En las imágenes captadas podemos ver como en la calle Manacor y Reyes Católicos, en la barriada de La Soledad de Palma, las alcantarillas han saltado y se han convertido en fuentes de agua. Los conductores tenían que esquivar las tapas metálicas de más de 25 kilos de peso que ‘volaban’ por la fuerza del agua acumulada. La mayoría de las calles de la barriada de Son Gotleu, La Soledad, Portopí y Son Oliva, entre otras, estaban inundadas. Los vecinos protestan por la falta de mantenimiento de las alcantarillas y la suciedad que hay en ellas. “Entiendo que una gran cantidad de lluvia en tan poco tiempo pueda generar problemas, pero lo que sucede es que las alcantarillas están taponadas de la mierda que tienen”, apuntaba un residente de la calle Reyes Católicos de Palma.
