Die Stadt Vigo erlitt vollständige überflutete Straßen. 9.000 Haushalte waren ohne Strom und auch die Citroën Fabrik musste die Produktion für eine Stunde stoppen, weil der Strom ausgefallen war. Der erste explosive Zyklon in Herbst, begann. Der Zyklon "Margot" wurde besonders problematisch im südlichen Galicien, mit fast 400 Notsituationen. Starker Sturm und vor allem, heftige Regenfälle verursachten Überschwemmungen und hinterließ eine Spur von Zwischenfällen in der Provinz Pontevedra. Mehrere Straßen von Vigo sind zu echten reisenden Flüssen geworden, temporäre Straßensperren in Barbanza und Barco, überwältigte selbst die Notfallteams.  Die Stadt Olivica  hatte ebenfalls unter größte Auswirkungen zu leiden. Die Explosion ereignete sich kurz vor fünf Uhr am frühen Morgen, in der Stadt von Lugo/Baralla, und hat erhebliche Schäden am Gebäude des Rathauses verursacht. Einige benachbarten Häuser wurden ebenfalls erschüttert.
