In Deutschland sind bei einem Zugunglück in der Nähe von Ibbenbüren, 30 Kilometer westlich von Osnabrück, zwei Menschen ums Leben gekommen. Etwa zwanzig sollen verletzt worden sein, einige von ihnen schwer. Der Personenzug der Westfalenbahn war mit einem Güllewagen zusammengestoßen, der aus unbekannten Gründen auf den Gleisen stand.
