Ein Erdrutsch hat in Italien Teile einer Stadt zerstört. Seit Tagen ergießen sich über Süditalien immer wieder heftige Regenfälle.In der Stadt Montescagliosa gab der völlig durchweichte Boden nun stellenweise nach. Dabei sackten viele Gebäude ein. In einzelnen Strassen hatten sich schon am Vortrag große Risse gebildet.

Weil die Mittel zur Finanzierung fehlen, schließt die spanische Region Valenzia ihren Ferseh- und Radiosender RTVV. Die Entscheidung sei unumstößlich, so der Chef der Regionalregierung, Alberto Fabra. Dramatic footage has been released showing the moment Harrison Okene, who had been trapped in an air bubble of a capsized boat for almost three days, was rescued by divers. Dramatic footage emerged on Tuesday showing the unlikely rescue in May of a ship's cook, who survived for almost three days trapped in an air bubble in his sunken ship. Harrison Okene had been trapped for 60 hours in the ship, which sank 98ft underwater off the coast of Nigeria, before divers found him. The divers from the DCN global diving company had been searching the tugboat for bodies, but in the video they can be heard shouting that a man is "alive" in the ship. Mr Okene was the only member of the 12 person crew who survived the sinking. The divers can be seen helping Mr Okene put on scuba diving equipment to swim out of the sunken ship. Once back on dry land, the cook was kept in a decompression chamber for 60 hours before he was reunited with his family.
