Update 06:28 UTC : The
PWTC has NOT issued an Tsunami advisory or alert which confirms our
initial expectations. Normally we need at least subduction earthquakes
(like here) but with Magnitudes of M7.5 or more to generate tsunami
waves.
A readers report from Nuku’alofa, Tonga (see below) :
“Items fell from shelves, hanging picture frames now hanging lopsided. Pet distressed and scared.“

“A little
shake for 2 seconds and after 1 second it followed by one big shake for
about 3 to 4 seconds. Nothing damaged just little things falling off
shelves, cupboards, etc.“
Update 06:28 UTC : Strongest (theoretical) shaking will be MMI V or moderate shaking.
