Ryanair strike to be extended for three more weeks: new dates The cabin crew strike will affect the 10 Spanish airports where the airline operates. Following the Ryanair cabin crew strike, which led to dozens of flight cancellations and delays in late June and early July, the airline's workers have extended their protest for another 12 days. With negotiations with the unions deadlocked, USO Sector Aéreo and Sitcpla have called the strike for the following dates: 12-15 July, 18-21 July and 25-28 July. This will result in the complications arising from the protest being extended by at least three more weeks. The strike affects the ten Spanish airports where the company operates, namely Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Alicante, Malaga, Valencia, Girona, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Santiago de Compostela. Ryanair workers complain that the Irish company does not comply with Spanish labour legislation, such as the number of annual holidays, while in terms of wages they point out that some workers are employed on an hourly basis and receive less than the minimum wage (SMI). https://www.lasprovincias.es/economia/empresas/huelga-ryanair-alarga-nuevas-fechas-20220706131810-nt.html#vca=eng-rrss&vcm=amp&vso=lasprovincias&vli=tw
