Queen in hospital with gastroenteritis
The Queen has been admitted to the King Edward VII hospital in London after suffering symptoms of gastroenteritis.
Her Majesty, who is 86, is expected to stay in hospital for two days.
The Queen, who rarely takes time off, is otherwise said to be in "good health and good spirits".
Buckingham Palace confirmed that a visit to Rome, which had been scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday would now be cancelled or postponed.
